Retail Sales Broker / Trader:
Equities, Commodities, Futures, Options & Currencies


Job Description:

The Account Executive is responsible for establishing new and managing existing relationships with customers who trade or are interested in trading equities, commodities, currencies, futures and options. The Account Executive is accountable for building their own pipeline of opportunities, developing client relationships, managing/overseeing their customer’s transactions, running an ethical business, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Successful candidates will be highly motivated and passionate about sales. Knowledge of our business and products as well as previous experience in developing business with individuals and institutions is necessary. The ability to function in an entrepreneurial environment with a long sales cycle is critical, as is the ability to work well with colleagues.

Skills:

  • 3+ years sales experience in acquiring new accounts and managing existing relationships.
  • CSC FLC & OLC licenses A MUST! (Securities, Futures, Options)
  • Self-confident, self-starter with a verifiable track record of success.
  • Adaptive, flexible, with an entrepreneurial orientation.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and execute solid market strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, open environment and simultaneously manage multiple client interactions and market positions.
  • Motivated by closing deals and highly rewarding, commission-based, compensation program.
  • Strategic thinker who is tenacious, and able to withstand the rigors of a long-term sales cycle.
  • Understanding of futures and financial markets is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Building a national client base, comprised of both corporate and individual accounts.
  • Maintain relationships with your current and prospective clients to ensure that the Firm is considered a “provider of choice” across various financial products.
  • Develop and maintain a rigorous calling program on both new and existing clients.
  • Researching, contacting, qualifying, and closing new business through prospecting leads and other business development efforts.
  • Managing on-going relationships with clients by providing value-added services and high level of customer support.
  • Employing a value based selling approach - participating in seminars, ongoing education, and customer support.
  • Identifying short-term and long-term sales acquisition opportunities and penetration strategies.
  • Proactively staying ahead of market trends through research and relationships with industry experts.
  • Working market hours and assisting office in managing in-coming calls.
  • Being a team player focused on the best interest of the client and the
    firm while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
